Stencil Bridge / Distorted Font

I using Stencil Bridge for the first time with Pro4 on a Windows 10 PC. Each time I do a cut, the letters begin to deteriorate. The first letter of the message is fine, then as you read to the left, each successive letter seems to have less resolution and begins distorting.

What font are you using and on what version of scal. I use ecal and often use bridge but have never seen distortion.

Can you do a screen capture or post the file so we can take a look?

Below where you enter your message you will see "Upload Attachment" choose file. then you will be taken to your computer drive to select the image you want to attach. Then you can place the image inline so it will show or not as you want.

Hope this makes sense

I'm using SCAL 4.016 with Windows 10. The font is VERANDA. A picture is attached.
As you can see, the first character is fine. As you execute stencil bridge, each successive character looks worse.

To avoid that happening, try using Object>Ungroup on your text to separate the letters into individual shapes. Then select each letter individually before using the Stencil function.

Thank You. That helps. There is still some distortion, but it is much less.

Go to Edit>Preferences and click on the Edit tab. Lower the Threshold on Auto Simplify Shapes. You may need to restart SCAL before it takes effect.
