Is it possible to use a character map with scal 2

There is a Font Table window (Window menu -> Font Table) that shows available basic characters for the current font selected.

For a more extensive character map, you would need to use version 4 of Sure Cuts A Lot. If you need to cut with your Cricut, you can use version 4 to make the design and send to version 2 for cutting.
