Can anyone help me with this design? I've tried but it will not cut correctly. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for any help!

Hi, can you describe "not cutting correctly" or better yet post the file here. Also what cutter are you using with what version of scal. Can you cut other files?

I'm using SCAL 3. When I trace the image it looks great but when it cuts, it has really jagged edges all the way around. I thought that something was wrong with my machine but other images are cutting fine. I started trying to cut with the expression machine but when I thought it was the machine I went to US cutter machine that I have and it also cut the same way.

Hi, I am pretty sure that your design has toooo many nodes which do cause the jaggy cutting.

If you selete the design and do a path/simplify a window will open and it shows how manynodes there are and what simplify will reduce them to. You can repeat the simplify to do more.

Let us know if this fixes the cutting issue.
