Not cutting through paper

For the 7th time and it still will not cut through this paper. I am using Making Memories double sided cardstock, and after 6 attempts I now had the force set on the highest setting. It still will not cut all the way through this paper. I have only used this machine about 10 times as it is new and I am trying to get used to it. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, in addition to pressure you need to adjust the "depth" of the blade to a higher number. You do this on the blade holder manually.. So you would remove the blade holder from the cutter and move the number up a notch or two.
You do not say which cutter you have so it is hard to give you explicit instructions but the manual that came with your cutter should give you guidelines for what depth setting you need to cut heavy material,
