I have the latest eCAL 2 software and the first eclips machine and when I go to do a print 2 cut, the laser comes on and I can line it up with the first registration dot, but when the mat moves down to the second registration dot about 3/4 the way there the laser cuts out completely. It only does that if the item to be cut has a 2nd registration mark located near the bottom of the mat. Is this a software issue or is it getting time for me to have the laser fixed on my eclips? I've had the eclips now for almost 3 years.

Okay, I tried the cleaning that back area near the black box on the eclips, and that didn't do any good. Now my laser is just getting in and out all the time. I'm assuming the laser is dying or the power to the laser is intermittent. Do I need to have the head replaced?
