I know this is going to sound like a stupid question but why cant I see the objects or text on my mat? On my appearance tab it is set to color and no matter what color I choose it doesn't change and all my objects and text are a faint gray until I run the cursor over it and then the outline only is a color. Everything was normal until about 3 days ago and I have tried everything I know to fix it.

Hi, since there are so many versions of scal and ecal + the operating systems (win/Mac) running on your computer is is important for you to provide this info when you ask a question as the right answer may differ.the first time. ie, Scal4, ecal1 etc.

To make this less of an issue every time you post you can add a signature to your post so it is always there. You do this in the user contro panel.

Once we know your system, someone will hopefully be able to help or you could contact support@ craftedge.com for the real experts..but they need the same info.

From the View menu, make sure the Show Outlines Only option is not enabled.

Thanks for the help. I had been having some computer problems and had it worked on. Im not sure what could have happened but I ended up uninstalling SCAL and reinstalling it. All is working fine now!
