I recently purchased a file that happen to be GSD. Is there any way I can convert it to SVG or AI?
Thanks,
Wendy

I'm not sure what a GSD file is. It must be exclusive to a certain company or program. You might want to Google it and look for a forum and hopefully find somebody who can export the file into something you can use.

I really thought Inkscape (which is a free program) would allow you to save gsd files to svg... but I am not seeing that option.

There is this older thread here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3048

And it seems that MTC will convert the file for you to a svg file. The Silhouette Studio software will open the gsd file, but then you can only save as a .studio file

BUT I would ask the designer that you purchased the file from to convert it to something you can use.

Is there any way that you can get a screen shot of the file. If so, then it could be opened in a paint program, saved as a jpeg and then traced in SCAL.

I think gsd is the extension for the Robomaster cutting program. I don't know if there is a better way, but this was posted on the Inkscape Cutting forum. http://www.inkscapecuttingdesign.com/vi ... =12&t=1069

You can download the Robomaster software to open the GSD file and then take a screen shot and copy it into paint, save it as a jpeg and then trace it in Scal. I've done many files that way. If you need help, let me know.
