ecal - bending text on a path

Is it possible to bend text to a path? I'm trying to put some text on the foot of a wine glass - so that it smoothly goes around the stem on the foot - is this possible??
Yes, search on the forum for text on path there are a couple of videos and some conversation that will help you out. Do not worry if they say scal2 and you have 3 or ecal as it all works the same way.
