Not all fonts showing up in library?

I got a new laptop recently and installed SCAL and all of my fonts on it but for some reason some of the fonts I like to use aren't showing up in the library. I checked the fonts folder and they're there, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?

I have had this problem too. It usually resolves itself, but in the past I have done the following. Whether it is a cure or not I don't know but it works.
I open the font library in my computer and click on each of the fonts that I am looking for that are not showing up as they should. Then I get the page that shows the font with the brown fox thingie , close it and viola my font appears. Like I said it could be coincidence but it works for me. Also if you don't understand what I just said then ask me ...
I teach beading classes and at the begining of every class I tell people I always understand what I am saying but most others don't so I am not offended if people ask me to re explain in "people" speak.
