Craft Edge

Hello all, I'm new here, Got my SCAL last night and I'm luvvin' it . Last year I couldnt decide wether to get a Craftrobo or a Expression,
so I got the craftrobo....As I wanted it for doing letters. I just could not get my head round it, so its been sat in its box for ages.
So at christmas I got a Expression,but now I was limited to the fonts on the cartridges .....then
along came SCAL
I have been waiting in the wings to see what everyones been doing with it and finally took the plunge last night and got it ..
Had a little bit of trouble getting it to work, but eventually I made it
Been having a play today , then I thought I would download some Dingbats ..
did that , saved them in my Font file on pc, went into Scal 'font list '......
they are not there....where are they ....what have I done ...where have I gone wrong , am I supposed to change the file name ??
can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong
or is it me being so .dopey !!

When you saved your fonts to the file on your PC, did you unzip them to fully install them? What OS are you running, XP or Vista? I'm running XP...I had to unzip the font file then save the font to my Font file on my C drive. Are the fonts listed at all when you open SCAL? When I first opened SCAL and I saw they were listed, but I couldn't see them in the other box...took me a few minutes to figure out that I needed to 'stretch' the box out so I could see my fonts.

Some of my dingbats show up in alphabetical order, but some, for some unknown reason, are at the bottom of the font list. So scroll down and see if they are hiding down there
