Craft Edge

Ok...I really want to learn this inkscape so I downloaded it today...and tried playing with a few things.
This is my first attemp at making a svg and I think this isnt quite right.
When I open this in inkscape now, it looks like there are two outline lines...instead of one bold one.
What am I doing wrong?

You do have double lines. The easiest thing to do is Path/Ungroup. Select just the inner outline of the fire, and delete. I am assuming that you will use 2 papers, so then you move the heart out of the fire outline, save, and you should be ready to import into SCAL and cut.
