Boss's Day cards

Post by hylaweb »

I started with one of the "Guy Cards" from SVGCuts.com and made a few modifications. Paper used was brown woodgrain (SimonSaysStamp), Kraft Core and Distress 12x12" packs (Tim Holtz), random colors from Core-dinations, and Authentique's "Natural" collection in 6"x6". I also used American Crafts glitter tape in peacock on some of them.

During this process I learned a few more things about the eclips, cutting difficult papers (the heavy woodgrain), the cheap 60-degree Roland blades I bought off of eBay (they're not bad, but use different settings than Sizzix brand blades), the differences in metallic vs. regular vs. glaze Gellyroll pens (used these on the inside), and good fonts to use with the pens. Every project is a learning opportunity! :)
