Okay sorry if this is a dumb question- I'm brand new Are there scut and cut files? If so I can I cut the cut (cricut files) using the SCAL program or how would I go about doing that? I just have the baby bug with no cartridges except George (SCAL is the only program you need!)

.cut files are from ds and you have to cut them using ds with the cricut cartridges.
.scut files can be cut using SCAl - just open the .scut file and cut
.svg files are from Inkscape. they can be cut in SCAL but you have to IMPORT them into SCAL to cut them.

Thanks that makes sense now! I thought maybe cut files could be cut using scal too
