Hi all - I am not able to see how to make the "extra" weed lines show up. I can get tit to cut the box around my work. I read the info in the weed lines dialog box. It shows how to click on buttons to add different types of weed lines. But I can't find these buttons anywhere. In that same dialog box there are blank squares that might be buttons, but there are no images or words in them.

There is something going on as you seem to be missing the icons across the top.
I'm missing the text down the left hand side
but to get the weeding lines, you select the type you want
here I have picked the 3rd icon in - giving me lines inside and outside the shapes
then you click where you wish the line to go, hold the button to drag, when you let go the line goes in.

add as many lines as you need to make weeding easier.
the first 4 icons are for horizontal lines the last 4 are for vertical lines - you can use both on the same piece (can't add more then three attachments)

Not trying to steal the thread but I use scal 3 Pro and seem to be missing the weeding function. Is it a add in or was it just discontinued in scal 3 pro? It would come in very handy for me.

nope, that is scal3 pro that I used.

you need to have an object on your screen, select it and then go object>weeding - you should then get the pop up box (with out without the text/icons LOL)

A very belated thank you for solving my weed lines issue. Following your instructions I was able to create the weed lines. They don't always show up on the screen but they do get cut. Thanks again!

No Problem, glad it got sorted.

remember those lines are a very light grey so it could be that they DO show up but are hard to see on screen (could be anything from contrast settings to screen/mat colour) but so long as they cut that's the main thing.

Hi there, I am new to the software and still in a learning phase.

Could you please help me out and advise how to get to the Weeding dialog box? I have the SCAL Pro 3 software.
