Could someone help. Haven't cut in a while. Cricut will not cut center of letters out. Is there something I am not remembering to do. On preview the center is light grey showing overlapping. which I thought was O.K Of the letters Happy Birthday Faye, it will cut out center of all but Birthday... Anyone?????

Try again. Have SCAL 2, 2.044, Cricut 2x3, anyway, Trying to weld. Happy Birthday Faye. I cannot get Birthday to show cut out on preview, other two cut fine. I know it must be something I am doing wrong, but what? am editing and welding each word separately. Ungrouping and then group afterwards. gone over and tutorials,??????? any ideas ???? thanks

I'm guessing that you broke apart at least some of your text. If you do that and then weld, the centers will not cut. You need to either not weld the letter centers, or re-combine them with the outsides (Object/Merge). Next time use Object/Ungroup instead of Object/Break Apart. HTH

I am not familiar with not welding centers and then recombining, maybe I can learn that down the road. However, I must say you were 100% accurate with your diagnosis. It works well by your instructions. I'll try to use program more frequent so I can learn more. Thank you so very much.
