How to Draw a Cartoon Puppy -SCAL3/eCAL

I woke up this morning and decided I was going to use eCAL to actually draw something. I usually use Inkscape as that is what I know. Now that SCAL3/eCAL have become so robust I figured it was time.

I used a "how to draw" tutorial for guidance in making the shapes. You can find it here.

Then I had to review a tutorial that Pandora (newbiecat) did on "how to manipulate nodes so I could re-shape ovals, and triangles, and cylinders into the various shapes I needed. See it here.

If you MUST have an svg file you can do the tutorial in Inkscape or after you've done it in SCAL3/ecal you can export it into Inksape svg.

If you capture the image it traces wonderfully in SCAL3/ecal....you'll have multiples of background pieces but they are easily deleted ;)
