New features..


Added new cutter "Silver Bullet"
Added Origin point cutting to start cutting where the blade is positioned
Added Close Path under Path menu to close open paths
Shadow Layer has option to inset shadow
Fixed dash lines saving/importing from SVG files

yeah, the inset shadow. Huge plus! Hope ECAL has/gets it too!

Yep....the knife point cutting is WONDERFUL!!!!! And the other features he's added are AWESOME as well!!!!!

It fixes a bug in the cutter preview window zooming

They fixed it within a few hours of reporting the problem but I forgot to update this thread

the knife point - well origin cutting they have called it - is brilliant, the virtual mat idea just never made sense to me but maybe that is because I use signcut and that is knife point (mostly)

All it needs now is automatic weeding lines for vinyl

I know I'm LOVING the knife point cutting...because that's what I use most.....I can see the virtual mat view can be very helpful...especially for those coming over from the MTC software because the layout for cutting is different and it's a pickle to get straight in your mind for some at first....LOL.....

Though this isn't new...I'm LOVING how well it handles Engraving (filled) files.....MTC would crash because of the nodes volume...but you don't have that with SCAL3......
