Project help on font issue....

Post by steven252000 »

Okay so I am doing a project that is aimed at my children's school team logo. The font I found and decided to use is called Angry Blue. The actual project looks good however the font has small imperfections that causes the cut to not turn out so well. Can anyone suggest a program (free ;) ) that I could use to possibly try and get the trouble areas out of my project? Or if anyone wants to volunteer that would be cool too....lol I am not trying to fix all the letters in the alphabet for this font just the letters I used in my project. I was able to remove some of the problems with break apart and zooming in and removing some things. But, some areas I just can not seem to be able to grab and remove no matter how much zoom I use. Any suggestions?

You will have to post the file, unless you wait to see if someone pm's you to help you.
If you post...multiple people may try to look and see if they can improve it and then you would have options to choose from.
My pictures and files are available for a limited time only.

Here is the file....Now there may not be much that can be done because of the nature of the font......the parts that cause problems are the bottom of the K and L as well as the small circles that are on some of the letters.

Steven,
Try doing a very small shadow and see if that gets rid of the detail you don't want. You might also try the Simplify command a bunch of times.
