Louise-Paisley wrote:It would seem you can upload a zip file, I suspected you would as pretty much all forums that allow uploads allow zips.

The file size must be 2mb or less as with all uploads ;)
The attachment flourish-design.zip is no longer available
I have a Mac so just for grins decided to try a zip file for the large hi res design

Here goes.....perhaps someone with WIN will try it and see if you do in fact get a hi-res file.

I feel like I got a souvenir from your trip :) I made this as a regular size shirt for me to wear with shorts. I LOVE IT! But, I could not get the paper backing to remove before ironing so I removed it after, which meant I had to take the picture into inscape and flip the words...after a trace. I saved as a .tiff, which gives great resolution and printed from my computers photo printing option.
Thank you so much for sharing these really really terrific designs!!!

I prewashed the shirt and rinsed it after and put through the dryer on regular heat.

Also, I purchased the 4x6 inch transfers as they were much less cost.

At least I know I am not nuts with how this works...see explanation here. I wasted 5 of the sheets trying...I am going to contact the manufacturer.

Normally - well all the transfers I have ever used..

With a white/ light tee shirt transfer paper you print mirror image, lay it print side down and press, then remove the backing.

With a black/ dark tee shirt transfer you print normally (not mirror image) cut out the transfer close to the edge of the print (cutter print & cut handy here), carefully remove the transfer from the backing and lay it on the tee shirt print side up, cover with silicone paper sheet and press.

It sounds like you may have instructions for dark but transfers for light from what you say.

EXACTLY...they put the dark instructions in but the package refers you to the instructions inside, and it says tissue for ironing are included...NOT...I had a tough time...but it was all worth it, and...I have just sent a note to Avery...asking for some credit for the mishap...will see what they do.

Edit to add: the company has resolved the problem to my satisfaction, as posted on pg4

I use Phoenix transfers now, they are much cheaper than Avery and seem to work just as well ;)
