Ready to thru computer and cricut

I have done up a design and saved to my zip drive. When I go to the desktop(which I use for the cricut), I open my scal2 program. I open the zip drive, there is the design I want. I click on it to open. Like I have done tons of times. It shows in the little box to the right. When I click ok to put it on my mat. There is nothing. I am about ready to throw everything away. I have done this a ton of times, but now wont work. Any suggestions. I have it saved as a scal2 on the zip drive. Any suggestions.
