I already have SCAL 2 loaded for my Expression, however, I just purchased a Silhouette Cameo also and would like to install SCAL 3. I don't want it to overwrite version 2 as I still would like to us my cricut. Is it true I can download version 3 and it will run independently from version 2?

Yes, they are completely independent and install to separate folders. They also have different serial numbers for activation. SCAL3 is a free upgrade if you own SCAL2. I have SCAL1, SCAL2, and SCAL3 all installed on my computer and SCAL1 and SCAL2 both still work. HTH
