I would love to have a svg file of the "I love.." heart (you know that crazy red head, not sure I can say the name). I'd like to make a car vinyl out of it!

Is it one of these?

What is the issue? There is a heart in the shapes table, several I think or are they not the correct shape, or is it the text of the words you need?

I'll help if I can but I need to know what it is you are attempting so I don't waste your time by providing something different than you imagine.

I did it in SCAL2 and so can you. You don't need Inkscape either.

The heart is from the shapes table
The font is brush script MT Italic (free download from dafont or most any of the free font places)

If you want the leading L's attached just select the letter and move it to just overlapping the next set and do a "weld" or a path/union.

This is a great exercise for newbies to create a first real file. If there is more you need to know how to do, please don't hesitate to ask again.

Can I do the same in SCAL 1?

I am pretty sure you can, but I don't have SCAL1 anymore. Give it a try and let me know. Always interested in "learning how to fish".

Perhaps there is a SCAL1 user around who can tell you, but it won't take but a bit of time to try it, unless the heart is not on the original shapes table, but I think it is.

What a great explanation and diagram.....and a good way to get others started on their own designs.
