heat presses

Anyone have one or done research as to a low cost press for t-shirts or baby onesies. ( since i am gonna be a Nana in about a month)

I've been looking for a plain heat press papers in craft stores (no designs or precut letters) and had no luck. Maybe we will have to order them online?

No heat press info, just wanted to say how exciting and make sure you post some pics. I'm not a grandma yet and it makes me sad. I'm getting too old. I'm babysitting for my 2-year-old grandniece and she's pooping me out.

I find Avery Transfer Iron on sheets for light or dark fabric at Staples or Office Max. I've always used my household iron with no problem. I have 2 presses.One 10x12,and one 16x24. Standard household irons might work
for lowend transfer paper,but i found them not very reliable for heat vinyl and
quality transfers. Cheap inkjet transfers will not last.I use a 2 part laser transfer,
sublimation and heat vinyl. I made about 70 shirts in the last 10 days.
I have seen presses for as low as $100 shipped on ebay. i would never use
an iron again for this work! They don't have enough pressure,nor a stable temp.
for vinyl.
I also want to point out,heat vinyl prices on ebay are not always fair.I buy
from the sign supply dealers.Often they will have deals on certain colors and
brands.I often get toop name vinyl for under $3 per yard.It will run about $8
per yard on ebay. As for shirts,I picked them up at Menards for $1.50 each a
couple of weeks ago.They often have them for $2 each.These were Jersey,Russel
and Fruit of the Loom.

thanks all for the input. jeepers - i buy my vinyl at sign store suppliers also. I am tired of the iron. I am just knowing that the press will make it a lot easier. Now to go do more research on the links butterfly posted.
