I would love to have this tutorial if it is for beginners. I am just starting to try and learn this software and scrapbooking all together.

There is also the basic tutorial on the Products page

These tutorials use Inkscape and were prepared before the update to SCAL 1.06 came out- so if it's just basic welding and mats you want you can do that all in SCAL now; these are fun additions to help you get the most from your machine.
There is also another of my tutorials in pictures on the Paperthreads Forum which shows you how to make your own designs in Inkscape using welding and basic shapes.
