Hi everyone!
This is my first time on this MB and I am considering buying software for my Cricut Expression but have heard about the lawsuits and such. I do not plan on purchasing another cutter so my question is, should I purchase SCAL or will it soon not work with my Cricut? I lovethe freedom to design and would like to try it out.
Thanks for your input

Buy It NOW, you won't be disappointed. Once you have it NOONE can take it away from you.

Well, I did it! I took the plunge and bought SCAL. I sure hope it will work with my Expression. Why do I feel like I have betrayed someone???

If for some reason it will not work, can I get a refund??

We are all happy Scal Crafters here...not ones who set the policies...you would need to contact Craft Edge for further info. if things do not work for you as you want. I have the same machine as you and do not plan to buy another one at this time, ...I like my machine. I am not worried about it. Should I not beable to update my Scal from this point forward it is okay with me...it is a GREAT program. Welcome to the board. You will enjoy it here.

Best investment I made. I love what I can do.....and love those that are far more creative than me even better 'cause there's a lot of sharing going on here.

Yes! Buy SCAL! I LOVE it! Don't be left out! It's the BEST software you will ever own and so easy to use. Great support too! You will be able to cut out just about anything you see from fonts to Disney. You won't be limited to just those expensive cartridges. Buy it before it's gone!! You won't be sorry.

I have another question about th SCAL software. Seems like I read on someone's blog that if you want to cut shapes with SCAL, you have to purchase another program (in addition to the SCAL) Is this true?

No you don't have to by another software. What you need to do is install the cricked cartridge in the slot were it belongs on the machine. In other words just install the cartridge, you already have that comes with the machine, the slot has to have something in it for scal to work. As far as other software,a lot of people like using Inkscape which is a free down load for tracing but I've never had a need for it.
