can anyone help me turn this into a svg i tried and not getting any luck

The logo came out quite nice - I made it two layers - cut the background out of blue then the gray layer will layer over top.

The letters - not so nice or smooth. I did some clean up on them but they still aren't perfect.

I thank you for posting this - reminded me I have a beautiful 8x10 of my dad in his US Air Force Uniform that I need to get onto a scrapbook page!

I found a vector file at Seeklogo.com. I opened it in Illustrator and saved as an SVG. This is 1 color. I hope that works for you.

I gave Todd's file a shadow bg in case you are not clear on doing it.

Thanks Todd - I can use the letters from yours because the letters didn't trace so well from the graphic posted earlier. I wasn't clever enough to look for a different graphic - LOL

Most of the official logos can be found as vectors either at Wikipedia or a logo site such as Seeklogo or Brands of the World.
