font cutting problem

Im trying to cut out something using Auqarelle ! Everytime I cut it out it crimples up the letters like its sticking are the font is to thin to cut ! Any help on how to fix this problem ! my settings on my cricut are speed-2 preasure -3 blade 3 !

Tam - I too have had some problems on occasion cutting thin fonts. I usually fatten them up a little in inkscape, but you can do it in SCAL too. In the appearance box for style, choose shadow rounded, then choose the size in the number box next to it. You can see the difference on the left hand example when I chose shadow size 2.
