So I went in to Michaels today to pick up something I needed.. Canadian Tire and MIchaels are withing walking distance from each other so each weekend hubby does his Canadian tire tour and I do my Michaels..LOL.. It's like a habit.. Anyhow I knew the cartridges were on special but couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price.. I did a double take.. I know I swore I would never buy cartridges again but I couldn't resist.. the cartridges were 14.99.. .. and 16.99.. Others were on sale for 59.99 down from 119.00.. all of them were 119.00 originally..(ya michaels is expensive) .. So yes I bought 2 of the cheaper priced ones plus I had a coupon I got in my email for an extra 20% off... I'm telling ya this really made my day.. I also told hubby I needed more storage for my scrapbook stuff and picked up a tall plastic console with 5 drawers for 19.99.. They were regularly 40 bucks.. So once again my scrapbook area is organized.. Heck some of the drawers are empty so I''ll have to do something about that..LOL

Wow, first a phone and now empty storage drawers. Is your husband a glutton for punishment?

I thought Michaels wouldn't let you use a coupon for Cricut? How did you manage that?

Awesome Cartoons the 20% off one could be used on the cartridges... I'm in Ontario Canada so maybe it's different here??

Nope, it says on the coupon that the cartridges are excluded. Lucky you that they took it. I was at Joann's Sunday, and they wouldn't take my 20% off entire purchase (no Cricut products were involved.. mostly storage) even though the sign at the service counter says that they take competitors coupons.

The computer automatically does it.. If it won't accept it automatically rejects it and for some reason it didn't.. I only had their cartridges and a cuttlebug file that beloned to provocraft as well and it accepted both coupons...
