When you cut something from a dingbat, are you saving the file as a .scut file or just storing the dingbat in your font folder?
Same question for your vector files created in inkscape.
Thanks.

I just created a folder in my library called Sure Cuts a Lot. In this folder I am creating project folders for each project I am working on and putting the individual elements I create for that project into that folder. I will also create a folder for generic shapes and elements based on a category. Right now I will probably save the files as SVG if I plan to use them in Inkscape or modify them, and SCUT after I've cut them out or if there is no need to modify them in inkScape.

If I have a svg design that has layers, I will import all the elements into SCAL, size them to fit and save as a file. That way, I don't have to do that again. We have not been able to successfully share .scut files that have imported .svg files in them...the files are blank.
I don't usually save font files created in SCAL unless it is really unique.

So is there a way to change a scut file into a svg file? And how would you do that?
