Project photos

Post by janekinso »

Hi, Everyone.
I thought that at the very least, I could share photos of projects that I've been working on using files/links/help from this forum.
I needed help even for that!

Hi Jane, beautiful cards. Did you make the flowers? The colored rose looks to have crystal effects, anyhow the elements you put together are terrific. Thanks for sharing your art.

Thanks, everyone. I did make the burgundy rose using Penny Duncan's pattern. Her suggestion to use watercolour paper is an excellent one. Watercolour paints then allow a perfect match with the colours in the rest of the project. The white rose is from a dollar store package. I edged both with stickles. The photo frames inside the cards were cut from files provided here, as were the keys on the journalling envelopes. I used a UTEE technique combined with pewter embossing powder on them. Even the initials were cut with my cricut.
I have been attempting to create some files to share. Seems like it will take some time..... ;)
