Signature to SVG

So, my friend is wanting a vinyl sign or decal made for her crafting booth. The logo she would like to use is a handwritten signature that her grandmother wrote for her. Obviously, it's not her name or anything, just the name of the company she is crafting under. I have taken a picture of the item. I know its a long shot, but is there a way to turn this signature into a SVG file so that I may cut it for her. Willing to do the work it takes to get it there, just not sure where to start.

I have to be honest, I ALWAYS use Inkscape. I had scanned an image of my signature, saved it as a jpeg and traced it in Inkscape to clean it up and reduce some nodes. Then I imported the file to SCAL to cut it. It actually came out pretty good. I'm sure you can trace it directly in SCAL, but I've never tried it.

Here's the picture of the signature. I appreciate any help that I can get. More than willing to try and trace it myself, just thought if someone out there just "loved" doing it, maybe they could give it a shot! Also, I have a pen and pad that I can use on my computer, just haven't set it up yet. Anyone out there using one?
