Ok, im ready to give up scal wont work on my E, it keeps crashing both my laptop and my E!!

i eventually upgraded my create last year to a lovely shiney new E, but after only a few months started giving me memory errors, i was a bit worried it had been caused by Scal as it kept freezing whenever i used it, did get some help of you guys but it never really stopped enough to be able to get through a few hours cutting, anyway took delevery of a new replacement machine today and i have not managed to cut a thing as scal keeps freezing my laptop and my E again!!!

I can honestly say without scal i would find my E useless as here in uk it is far too expensive to buy carts all the time and especially if its only for the odd thing off a cart!!

Any ideas what it could be?? my laptop although it was new only just before i got my first E and worked fab on my create???

any help would be great :)

It sounds to me like you do not have enough RAM on your computer for the program to work. Contact Craft Edge and ask them to help you troubleshoot. They are very quick to reply and can usually help you solve the problem.

Do you have any other programs running while the E is connected and running? Maybe there is a conflict with one of your other programs.
