SCAL 2 not working for me

I just upgraded to SCAL 2 this morning. Everything went fine - now that I choose cut - it just says an error occurred while trying to cut. Am I supposed to download a new firmware? I have an Expressions & have the firmware for it. Already problems & wondering if I should've just stuck with the original.

I just upgraded yesterday and I'm having some problems too. I can however cut with it.

I figured by now the bugs would be worked out.
One thing that is not happening for me that I know should is the window is not coming up showing me the choices of what machine I'm using or the version of firmware. I don't know how to get that to come up but I do know I have 2.1 firmware so that is right.

How did you guys resolve the issue??? I have the same problem and have a project that i'd like to have done by tomorrow!!! WOnder if that is going to happen?!
