Craft Edge

I AM TRYING TO CUT THE REVERSE OF SOME LETTERING OUT OF CARD, AND WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY WAY TO DO THIS USING SCAL OR IF I'M GOING TO NEED TO DESIGN IT IN INKSCAPE.

BASICALLY I'M TRYING TO CUT A CIRCLE OUT OF A CARD LEAVING THE TITLE "CLASS OF 2008" STILL ATTACHED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CIRCLE. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANY WAY I CAN DO THIS?

I know it would be easy to do it in Inkscape but I am not sure about SCAL. All I basically do in SCAL is cut.

Here is a link where they tell how to do it w/ DS. It is time consuming, but well worth it when you figure it out. Not sure if this will help w/ SCAL, as I don't have this program yet, but thought it couldn't hurt.
