I used the Face Off font and my Cri-Kits pen to make a face on the zuchinni before I cut it out. I may add googly eyes. The file is from SVGcuts.com Veggie Garden files. so the Face fonts will work pretty well I think.

Butterfly you have obviously never had chocolate zucchini bread!!!! But seriously folks, how did you figure out the cut and print thing? Did you just design them in layers and then "cut" one layer at a time with the load last button????? I am off tomorrow so maybe I will try to figure it out. If you want my chocolate zucchini bread recipe let me know.

I did a video on how to cut and print for the Cri-Kit pens that might give you a leg up on this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Gdb68cQKvY
It shows how to Print with the pens in SCAL and then cut around the image. It is different than how you print on a printer and cut around the image. I was using SCAL 2.013 at the time, not the brand new one but it should work still.

Yes please!
The main thing on using markers/pens and cutting for the same project is to use the pens first, then press Load paper to move the carriage back to "home" to change to the blade. It isn't strictly necessary to press any of the buttons on the Cricut, but I find I'm much less likely to bump the blade out of position if I use Load paper.

I didn't move my carriage after I was done printing. I left the carriage where it was, removed the Cri-Kit pen, put in the blade, changed the layer and then hit cut and it cut out just fine. I'm just glad I figured out how to do the layer thing!
