Sooooo maybe I am the only one who never thought of this, but just in case I will share it anyway.

I have been looking for a very (very) simple daisy/flower to cut from vinyl for some aluminum water bottles I am doing. As I was looking thru some online ones for inspiration I thought perhaps I could modify an asterisk and go that route. I started looking thru my fonts at the different ones that have cool asterisks and found many (many) of them have fantastic asterisks that can easily be used as flowers as is.
Hope this tip is useful to some.
Take care!

I did and have already used that a couple times for scrap booking - thank you for sharing! I LOVE it! I had tried it on the bottles but was worried about condensation causing the vinyl layers to separate so I was looking for a really basic, almost 60's hippie generation daisy.
Have a great day!

Great Tip! Thanks so much...we could all create a customized collection to share based on some of our favorite fonts! I'm having fun just thinking about it!

Using fonts and the basic shapes is the only way I have had any luck with designing so far. But I have done some cute things that way. Like . . )l( . . . Angle the parenthesis and path/union makes a nice wine cork. I just love it
