Using SCAL on more than one Cricut

I have both the small Cricut & the Expression. When I originally purchased SCAL I set it up to use on my Expression because I wanted to play with vinyl right away. Now I would like to try layering and cutting paper for scrap booking, I would rather work on my small cricut for this. Can I use SCAL with both of my Cricuts? Will it be a hassle to change back and forth from Cricut to Cricut?

Thanks,
Jen

What I do is leave the USB cord attached to my computer, then plug the other end into the Cricut that I want to use. You could also have a cord for each Cricut, and only power up the one that you want to use. Computers see the Cricuts as "Generic USB devices" rather than as a specific machine, so it doesn't matter which firmware you select in SCAL, it will cut to whichever one the computer happens to cut to.
