Craft Edge

Ok, I finally bit the bullet and bought scal2 on Sunday, boy is there a learning curve to this software. Anyway, I d/l an awesome angel file that I want to cut, the paper I want to use is 8x11, so how do I get this file to cut using the 12x12 mat? Do I just select 6x12 mat size even though the expression doesn't take this mat?
Hope this question makes sense.

Select the 12x12 size but make sure your angel isn't bigger than your paper and is set up to cut on the virtual mat where your paper is on the real mat. Hope that makes sense.
