I just bought SCAL for Windows. Every time I click on import svg it gives me an error and says "failed to load the svg file" What is going on. I have tried all kinds of svg files. I'm so annoyed with this. I just want it to work

Thanks!

Yes, they both work for me too. If you installed your SCAL from a CD (or downloaded it before March 16th) have you tried updating the version to the most recent one? If you are using Vista or Win7 are you running in XP compatibility mode? Also, someone earlier was having problems from having too many fonts. Have you installed a lot of fonts?

They open for me in the trial of MTC. I even loaded SCAL on my husband's pc but it doesn't work there either.

When you activated the SCAL2 software on the Craft Edge website, did it give you a message that it completed the activation?
Can you cut the shapes from the basic library that's built into SCAL2? If not, then the problem isn't the SVG files not loading, it's a problem with the installation or activation of the SCAL2 software.
Have you sent a email to
support@craftedge.com
I'm sure they can help.
