JUST WANTED TO SHARE NEW PURCHASE SUCCESS:
Got on Ebay for $21.99 set of 12 mini gel pens and a metal adapter to hold them. Works great.
Also they have adapter for mini-sharpies $17.99 (no pens) or both for $40. "Buy it now" from the seller: Mybluis
Thought with various topics dealing with this someone might find useful! Much cheaper than some of the other adapters I think.

I too have these pens and the lady that sells them are WONDERFUL! She was very helpful and communication was great! She even let me call her if i had a problem! Top Notch Seller!

Any tips to pass on from her or from your own experience using them?

Also, you can buy a pack of Crayola Pip-Squeaks and the rubber pencil holders (the name of those things escape me) for regular colors.

yep I've done that.. with the pip squeaks.. you can also buy miniature pencil crayons from the dollar store.. I also buy my gel pens from there..minis and staples..

Are you guys saying you can use pip squeeks and a rubber pencil grip in place of a holder? Or am I off my rocker completely?

Just want to add that not all of the staples mini gels are created equal! I have those gel pen holders and I had a lot of trouble getting a pen out of it. Really hard on my old knobby fingers.

Pasta did you get the one from crikits?? The one from crikits has a hollowed out side so you can just push your pen back out.. It's magnetized into the holder.. Also as per the gel pens from staples I take the ink piece out of pen and screw it into one of my pen barrels from crikit..
