I would like to have a downloadable user manual!!! All of the tutorials are great, but I wish they were all in 1 place with an index!!! When I have a question about something or can't figure something out, it takes me forever to try to find a tutorial to help me.

Thanks. That is helpful and I never even knew it was there. It has good basic information in it. Would like some more advanced info too.
Like what is the difference between Path-Union and Group?? It seems they do the same thing.

Path Union will join the two pieces into one. You cannot break apart the pieces once you click union. For example you take two rectangles and create a T shape. When you select both pieces and click union, you will now have one piece with no line at the connecting point of the two pieces. (See left T on picture.)
With the Group feature, the pieces are selected and put into a "group" so that you can "move" them together. The difference with group vs union is that the grouped items can still be ungrouped and changed so group is not permanent like union is. If you create the T shape as in the first example and group them together you would cut two individual rectangle pieces as the line would still be there at the point they connect. (See right T on picture.)

I agree that the in-program user's manual should be updated. It was pretty good for the earlier versions of SCAL2, but nothing has been added to it for the big changes that were made.
