trouble downloading inkscape

I'm trying to download .47 of Inkscape (I have .46) . I go to the site and click the download link and it says "your download will start shortly, if you have trouble use one of these mirrors". So I wait, and wait, and wait and nothing happens. Then if I click one of the mirrors it freezes my computer. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

I just downloaded Inkscapre 0.47 by going to
www.inkscape.org and downloaded it that way, hope this helps.
