HELP Ink .47

I just downloaded ink .47 (had .46), told me I had to uninstall .46, so it did that & installed .47....now when I open ink .47 I have no toolbars on top or on left side. I import an image, , path, trace, and it gives me an error that Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now.Automatic backups of unsaved documents were done to the following locations: New document 1.2010_02_02_14_41_12.0 !!! What do I do now ???

Did you install it right from there site or somewhere else???

I would email the people right at Inkscape to inform them of what happened. Maybe a glitch???

Had a file apparently missing in the update...they sent it & it's now working right!! On to making my project...thanks for the help.
