scal won't cut my file

I am trying to make a logo, I can down load it in inkscape, do all the color tracing and separating and make new files, but when I import to scal to cut, it will import, let me change size but will not receive command to go to circuit machine any help please. All other files I have will still cut, it is just this logo

Try copying and pasting into a new file.

what do you mean copy and paste? to what?

Select all your vectors and copy. Create a new file and paste all the vectors into that file and save as an SVG. This seems to work for some reason.
