Craft Edge

I was given a Cameo 4. I've not used a Sil machine in a very long time, and I don't want to go back to SS after using SCAL for so long. I can't get SCAL5 to recognize the Cameo at all. I'd really prefer the Bluetooth over the USB. Any help would be much appreciated.

Even though you don't want to use Silh Studio, it's probably a good idea to use it to make sure both Bluetooth and USB are working on this Cameo and if you need help, you can contact Silhouette. Once you make sure that Silh Studio will communicate successfully, then you can try from SCAL. Note that when I was testing and writing a user manual for the Cameo 4, I never got BT to work from my Mac to it (even though I have other Bluetooth cutters that did work) and when I would try it on my PC, it would work once and then stop. This was all with Silh Studio and not even attempting SCAL at that point. I ended up having to use the USB cable for the remainder of the project.

I have the same issue. I really need to use BT on SCAL5, but can't make it connect to the PC.
Is there no way to actually contact a support person at CraftEdge for possible answers? I sent the form in a day or 2 ago, but so far, crickets.

Do you have it connecting via BT from Silh Studio?
