How do I cut out a template that I am putting in SCAL in Trace Image and it is cutting out each piece I only want the outline cut out and the inside line scored... I hope I have made sense... Thanks in advance...

If you are using scal2 use the break apart feature and delete the pieces you don't want..or if you just want the outside part use the blackout feature....

If I use the black out then the score lines will be gone, will I have the score lines if I use the breakapart??

Yes because you are just deleting the pieces you don't want.. keep your score lines there...the blackout will only black out the main part.

is there a tutorial for all this?

You need to put the score lines on a separate layer from the cutting lines so that you can score the score lines, then change your blade and cut just the cutting lines. HTH
