Re: Make the cut
I always make sure when I know people have cricuts or are thinking of getting one I steer them in the direction of SCAL2..lol.. Nothing wrong with that.. As far as metioning another program it is indeed about competition and I'm sure sooner or later another new program will come along... I just hope there's never a SCAL3 because I really can't afford to be spending money on another upgrade..UGH...

Todd,
SCAL2 has updates since November? Where do I go to find them? I just bought SCAL2 at the end of Nov. and have not seen any updates.
Thanks,
Lori

Select windows or mac for the correct updates. No need to uninstall the old version of SCAL2. Just download and install the new update and it will automatically add itself to the current version on your computer.

Thanks Deloris for the link to the video.
How do you tell which download that you have? When did 2.006 come out?
I purchased in November - not sure if I have the last one or not. Not home at the moment to see if I have those features.

Open SCAL2 then go to Help then About and it will show you what version you have.LiveLaughScrap wrote: How do you tell which download that you have? When did 2.006 come out?

If you don't have 2.006 go to the link listed above and download it. You don't have to delete anything, just select download and it will upgrade the version you have.

Re: Make the cut
SCAL 2.006 only just recently came out 2 days ago... If you downloaded in Nov.. chances are you don't have the newer download... If you click on your SCAL folder it's usually a little orange box that comes up first and it says what version it is in the corner..
Re: Make the cut
I just downloaded SCAL2 today. So excited. Not that i will ever be able to create anything but i just had to have it. Now to learn it.

Re: Make the cut
Thanks everyone. I did the download last night. I really like it. WTG, SCAL!!! I think I'm stuck & not going anywhere - SCAL is on top of it & great cutomer service.
For those of you that may be upset about others posting about competitors products:
I usually agree whole haeartedly. I can only speak for myself, but I am one of the others that had asked about MTC vs. SCAL on here. The only reason i did so, was b/c I was hearing about how great this new software was and I had just purchased SCAL & was having a hard time with it. I just wanted to get the message to SCAL about the competitor & to see if they were making any changes to be comparable. I made my post on 12/31 and on 1/2 SCAL had an update. It may not have been b/c of my post - but it made me feel alot better about the decision that I made. So far I love my SCAL and will recommend it to anyone. i don't feel as though I am missing anything by not getting that other program. I have been looking at SCAL for a year and am so happy to have it now. Who knows what "THIER" customer service will be like? I'm glad to know we have Todd on our side!!!!
Just My 2 cents,
Lori
