Not the TTF fonts - the dingbat type fonts. If they don't work for you try opening them in Paint, saving as jpeg them importing to Inkscape and tracing them.

Funny, seme to be having the same font problem. I can only change fonts now if I go into text& fonts and then I have to set it as the default font because the apply button is greyed out, not all of my fonts are showing up either. Didn't have any of these problems until I upgraded.
