Is there a list of fonts that MUST remain on your computer?
Re: Is there a list of fonts that MUST remain on your computer?
I just downloaded a font to my USB stick, now how do I use it in SCAL. I know a dumb question but I don't want to download anymore to my C: drive.

I'm running Vista, and when I deleted fonts I no longer wanted, the important fonts just wouldn't delete.

If you have SCAL2, the easiest way is to open SCAL, select the font tool, then in the font window there is a button to load uninstalled fonts. It is the T on the far right of the Bold and Italic buttons. I believe that fonts must be unzipped before you use this.quinn03 wrote:I just downloaded a font to my USB stick, now how do I use it in SCAL. Another option for Windows machines Except Windows7 is to click on the font where you have it stored to open it, then open any program you want to use it in. With this method you can leave the fonts zipped. Windows7 will not work this way, you must use a font manager or SCAL2 to use uninstalled fonts.
