This is brilliant!! Wish I had thought of it before I bought the black/brown Cricut markers. Sharpies come in many more colors though...now, where is that duct tape!!

One word of caution, Sharpies are not archival, so be careful what you use them on.

The ladies over on the cricut board have been doing this for some time now. Instead of putting tape around the sharpie they are putting those foamy pencil grips on them. They can be put on and taken off quite easily and work perfectly in the circut machine....no adjusting required!

I was just going to post the same thing!! Most of the things I use my Cricut for are scrapbooking related so I need the archival factor. But it is a great idea for cards or something!HeatherM wrote:One word of caution, Sharpies are not archival, so be careful what you use them on.
